Knight's Honour

Knight's Honour has raced once so far, finishing twelfth in that single outing just a day ago. The 2-year-old is trained by Aidan O'Brien at Cashel in County Tipperary, a yard that has already sent out 125 winners this season — a reminder of the quality of horseflesh coming through the operation. For a horse this young and this early in its career, one race tells you almost nothing. Plenty of future champions have stumbled out of the gates. What matters now is whether Knight's Honour improves from that first run and gets another chance soon to show whether it has the ability to climb the grades. Time and racing will tell.
