That second suggests the horse is still competitive and sharp, even if winning chances have dried up. The pattern over these last six races—ups and downs, occasional glimmers of form—is familiar for a horse operating at this level, where consistency matters more than raw talent. Bandey's Tadley yard is having a reasonable season with 14 winners, so Klycot is being trained by someone who knows his business.

Klycot will continue to be worth following, particularly if he returns to Class 4 company where his record shines. A horse that wins two races in three at that level has genuine merit, and the recent second place proves he is still sound and willing. The challenge now is whether those conditions align again soon enough to bring about another win.
