Kisskodi

The horse raced for the first time at Brighton back in May 2025, winning on debut, and has barely looked back since. Most recently, Kisskodi won at Chepstow just this week, confirming that the form is sharp and the horse is in excellent health right now. That recent record of two wins from its last six races, with a couple of placed efforts thrown in, suggests a horse that is competitive almost every time it steps onto the track.

The most intriguing chapter in Kisskodi's story so far is what happens at Epsom Downs — two wins from three visits. Epsom is one of the most unusual and demanding tracks in Britain, with a famously steep downhill section and a sharp camber that catches plenty of horses out. Some horses simply never get to grips with it; others seem to thrive on it. Kisskodi is very much in the latter camp, and that record over a tricky course is not a coincidence — it points to a horse that handles a challenge well.

Trainer Harry Eustace, based at Newmarket, has been in good form this season with 24 winners already sent out from his yard — the kind of numbers that suggest a well-run operation with horses in good order. Jockey George Wood has been in the saddle for five of Kisskodi's races, winning once together, and the partnership looks likely to continue as the horse progresses.

Competing mainly in Class 4 races — the solid, competitive middle tier of British racing — Kisskodi has won 2 of 7 at that level, roughly 1 in every 3.5. That is a healthy return and suggests a horse that belongs there and is consistently troubling the best in those fields. Still only four years old and racing just this week, the story is far from over.
