Kiril is still learning the game. The two-year-old has contested three races without finding the winner's enclosure yet, finishing eighth, tenth, and eighth in those outings. With
Patrick Owens's Newmarket yard sending out only a handful of winners this season, Kiril remains a work in progress—but at this age, that is entirely normal. The horse raced just a day ago, so the yard are clearly keeping the pressure on, keen to find the right opportunity or the right conditions. For a young horse still chasing that breakthrough moment, frequent racing at this stage can help build experience and ring fitness, even if the results have not yet clicked into place.
