Kilconnell is a two-year-old still finding his feet on the track. He has run twice without a win or place finish, most recently a fortnight ago when he finished 14th, and before that 10th. With the yard of trainer
Daniel McLoughlin — who has already sent out 9 winners this season from Newbridge in County Kildare — there is clearly racing experience and competence behind him. At this early stage of his career, there is simply not enough form to draw conclusions about where he might fit in, but he remains active and in training with a yard that knows how to prepare winners.
