That is a meaningful figure. It tells you the horse is not just making up the numbers at that distance; it is genuinely competitive. Both wins have come at Class 6 level, which is the entry-level tier of British racing, and that is where Keats House has done its best work — again, 2 wins from 9 races at that grade.

The first win came at Beverley in July 2025, and the second at Musselburgh in September — two very different tracks, which suggests the horse is not just a one-venue specialist. Musselburgh, on the east coast of Scotland, is a tight, flat circuit where pace and timing matter. Winning there is no fluke. That said, the Musselburgh win was around seven months ago, and Keats House has run seven times since without adding to its tally, including a seventh-place finish most recently. Recent form of 7-2-4-1-4-3 (reading from the most recent run backwards) shows flickers of life — that 1 in the sequence is the Musselburgh win — but also plenty of near-misses.

One curious thread in the story is the partnership with jockey Billy Garritty, who has ridden Keats House eight times without a win between them. That is not necessarily a damning statistic — horses and jockeys can simply not click — but it is a pattern worth noting. Behind the scenes, the horse is trained by the Easterby family at Sheriff Hutton in North Yorkshire, a yard that has sent out 51 winners this season, so this is no small operation. Keats House raced just yesterday, meaning it is very much in active training. Whether another win is coming is hard to say, but at the right trip, on the right day, this horse has proven it knows how to get to the front.
