It raced just yesterday, which means the yard are still actively campaigning the horse, still looking for that second win.

Trainer P J Rothwell, based at Tinahely in County Wicklow, has had a decent season with 35 winners from the yard. But even the best trainers cannot turn every horse into a winner, and Kazakh d'Arthel appears to be exactly what it looks like on paper: a plodder with just enough ability to earn a place now and then, but not enough to win.
