There is not a great deal to go on with Joly Saphir just yet — this is a five-year-old with just one race to its name, finishing eighth in that outing, and it ran only yesterday.
Philip Fenton's yard in Carrick-On-Suir, Co Tipperary has been in decent form this season with seven winners on the board, so the team at least has momentum behind it. That sole run tells us very little about where this horse is headed, but with a yard firing at a reasonable rate, it would be no surprise to see Joly Saphir back on a track soon with a clearer sense of what it can do.
