Jetpack Jimmy's form has been erratic—an eighth last time, a ninth before that, but that earlier third-place finish shows he can mix it when conditions suit. At three years old, he is still very much in his learning phase, and many horses need several races under their belt before the penny drops. Whether Jetpack Jimmy will break through remains to be seen, but there is nothing in his record to suggest he cannot improve.
