Jetaway Annie is a 4-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She has run once so far and finished 14th, which suggests there is plenty of work ahead before she breaks her duck.
Paul Nolan, her trainer at Enniscorthy in County Wexford, has had a solid season with 25 winners from his yard, so there is clearly capable horsemanship behind the scenes. With just the one outing under her belt and that race only a day ago, it is far too early to draw firm conclusions about what Jetaway Annie might become — plenty of horses take time to settle into racing and improve markedly once they understand what is being asked of them.
