At six years old, with one win on the board and a last victory nearly two and a half years ago, Jazz Forever is unlikely to dramatically rewrite its own story. But horses like this — durable, consistent enough to place, anchored to a specific trip and a specific track where lightning once struck — often keep running long after the obvious conclusion has been reached. Dundalk in the right conditions at the right distance remains the scenario where a Flynn runner can dare to hope.
