Jacquette is trained by Georgie Howell, operating out of Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire, a small yard that has managed one winner on the board this season. That is a modest return, and in a sport where smaller operations often rely on every horse pulling its weight, a horse still searching for a first win after five attempts is a challenge rather than an asset right now. Whether Jacquette is simply in need of the right conditions or a different type of race to unlock something remains to be seen — but on the evidence so far, she has plenty to prove.
