It raced as recently as yesterday, which tells you the team at Rathvawn are keeping it busy and confident in what it has to offer right now.
Where Jacovec Cavern really catches the eye is at distances of a mile and three to a mile and four furlongs — it has won 1 of just 4 races at those trips, a win rate of 25%, which is more than double its overall record. That might sound like a small sample, but when a horse's best numbers cluster so clearly around a specific distance, it is usually worth paying attention. Get the conditions right and it clearly steps up.
