The horse was last out just a day ago and is clearly being kept busy by trainer Ollie Sangster's yard at Marlborough, Wilts — a stable that has been in excellent form this season with 46 winners to its name. The recent record reads 14-9-1-6-2 (most recent first), which tells a mixed but not discouraging story: a couple of placings sandwiched between some harder efforts lower down the field. That second-place finish and the ninth-place run in the last five outings suggest It Dunt Marra has the ability to trouble the winner on its day, even if consistency remains elusive. For a young horse still racing regularly and competing at this stage, the foundations are there. The challenge now is to string together another winning performance and build from that first success at Lingfield.
