Innisfree Lass

The mud helps explain it. On wet, heavy ground, Innisfree Lass has won 2 of her 3 races — that is a two-in-three success rate that most racehorses could only dream of. Some horses tolerate soft conditions; she actively thrives in them. Her first career win came at Southwell in February 2024, and she returned to the same track exactly two years later to win again, just six weeks ago. At eight years old, she is not getting any younger, but right now she looks as effective as ever.
