Indian Sunbird competes almost exclusively at Class 5 level — the entry-level tier of professional racing, where horses are competing for modest prize money against opponents of a similar standard. It is not threatening to step up into the top races, but it is genuinely competitive where it runs, and there is real value in that consistency.

The horse's most recent win came at Huntingdon in October 2025, and its very first career victory arrived at Worcester in July 2024 — meaning everything this horse has achieved has come in just over a year of winning form, all at nine years old. That is a pleasingly late-blooming story. Indian Sunbird is not a horse building toward something bigger. It is a horse doing exactly what it does well, at the right level, with the right jockey, and still turning up for work the very next day.
