Racing again just yesterday, Imnotleavinyou is clearly being kept busy by trainer Michael Mulvany, who operates out of Kells in County Meath. Mulvany's yard has been in good nick this season, sending out 19 winners, so there is clearly a healthy operation behind the horse even if this particular inmate has taken time to get off the mark.

The regular partnership with jockey Wesley Joyce is one worth watching with cautious eyes. Seven races together and no wins between them is a fact that stands out — though it is worth noting that Imnotleavinyou only has one win to its name at all, so Joyce is hardly uniquely unlucky here. Both horse and rider are still searching for the combination that brings the best out of them together. Whether Mulvany sticks with Joyce or tries something different in the coming weeks could be one of the small storylines worth following. At three years old, there is still plenty of time for this horse to figure things out — and given how active the yard is keeping it, the next chapter is unlikely to be long in coming.
