Landing a horse in the places first time out is no accident, and with a trainer operating at that level, Imelda will likely have been given every chance to show what she can do.

There's not much more to say yet — one race simply doesn't give you a lot to work with. But a three-year-old who finishes second on her first outing, trained by someone clearly in good form, is absolutely worth keeping an eye on as her career develops.
