What makes this horse genuinely interesting is how it performs at specific tracks and on certain ground. At Newcastle, it is genuinely special—winning two of just four races there is a win rate of 50%, which is extraordinary. When the ground is normal and firm, not wet or muddy, the horse transforms into something far better than its overall record suggests: five wins from 25 races on fast or standard conditions means it wins one in every five times it runs on that going. Drop it into Class 5 races, the lower tier of competition, and it has won one in every three races. These are not small variations—they point to a horse that thrives in particular circumstances and struggles when conditions do not suit.

Adam Caffrey, who has ridden it in four wins from 24 races together, has found success more often than the horse's overall record would suggest, winning at just over 17%. Trainer Adrian McGuinness, based at Lusk in Co Dublin, has a busy yard that has sent out 45 winners already this season. The immediate challenge for the team is breaking the current losing run. If the yard can find it another race on fast ground at a track where it feels at home—ideally back at Newcastle—the statistics suggest it has every chance of running well.
