Ilen's Dream

Ilen's Dream is a six-year-old horse in the care of Gearoid O'Loughlin at Dunshaughlin in County Meath. The horse has run once so far, finishing eighth, and is still actively racing. With just the one outing to his name, there is little yet to go on — a single race tells you almost nothing about what a horse might achieve. O'Loughlin's yard has had a winner this season, so there is at least some form coming from the stable. What happens next for Ilen's Dream will depend entirely on how he develops with further racing and whether he shows the kind of improvement that makes a horse worth persisting with.
