I Dont Really Care

I Dont Really Care has yet to find the winner's circle in three races so far, finishing second once and well down the field in his other two outings. The 5-year-old is trained by Ray Hackett at Nenagh in County Tipperary, a yard that has been producing winners this season — four in total — so there is clearly capability in the stable. For a horse at this stage of his career, winning races matter, and I Dont Really Care hasn't managed one yet. He raced just yesterday, which suggests he is a regular competitor rather than a horse being saved for something special. His most recent three runs show a fourth place, then a third, then the encouraging second-place finish, so there has been some improvement in his last couple of outings. Whether that is the beginning of a pattern or just noise is what the coming races will tell.
