Hulk Power made a winning debut at Southwell just this week, claiming victory at the track on 23 July 2026. The 3-year-old, trained by
Roger Varian at his powerful Newmarket yard, has yet to race anywhere else, so it is far too early to know what level the horse will settle at or how far it might progress. What we do know is that it showed enough promise on debut to win — a good start, nothing more. Varian's stable is in excellent form this season with 87 winners to its name, so the horse is in capable hands. The team will now be working out where Hulk Power fits in the racing world and what sort of races suit it best.
