Hope And Joy

Trained by Lisa Williamson at Kelsall in Cheshire, Hope And Joy runs for a yard that has had six winners this season—a solid foundation, though Hope And Joy itself has yet to join that list. Two placings from four races is not a disaster at this level; plenty of horses take time to break through. The question now is whether the third-place finish from yesterday signals the beginning of something better, or whether Hope And Joy will continue to hover just outside the frame. The horse is young enough that improvement is entirely possible, and with a trainer keeping it active and racing regularly, there is still time for the wins to come.
