Highway Sixty One

Its recent form shows the pattern clearly. There is no obvious trajectory here, no sense that a breakthrough is building. Instead, Highway Sixty One appears to be a horse operating at a level where other runners simply have more to offer on race day. The two placings in 20 attempts suggest it can get close enough to compete, but not quite often enough or convincingly enough to seal the deal. After racing just yesterday, it remains active, so the yard are still searching for the moment when everything clicks into place—though as weeks turn into months without a win, that moment may never arrive.
