Headofthevalley
Headofthevalley is a 6-year-old with a perfect eye for victory at Ffos Las. The horse won at the Welsh track this week, on 29 October, and that success marks its first career win — a breakthrough that comes after two earlier races. With one win and two top-3 finishes from just two races, Headofthevalley is winning roughly half of everything it runs in, which is the kind of win rate that suggests real ability.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
The immediate signs are encouraging. After finishing third most recently, the horse bounced back to win at Ffos Las, showing both consistency and the ability to put a below-par run behind it quickly. It is currently in active training with Mrs C. Williams at Llancarfan in the Vale of Glamorgan, a yard that has saddled three winners already this season. For a horse still so early in its career, the combination of a quick win, a strong win rate, and a trainer with momentum in the book makes Headofthevalley one worth keeping an eye on as it races through the winter.
