Cork is where Hastily comes alive. Two wins from just 4 races there is a remarkable return — winning half the time at any track is the kind of ratio most horses never get close to, and it stands in sharp contrast to everything else in the form book. The most recent of those Cork wins came on 25 July 2025, which makes it the most recent win on record and suggests the connection between this horse and that course is no fluke. Something about the layout, the ground, the trip — whatever it is, Cork seems to unlock a better version of Hastily.

The preferred distance tells a similar story. Over seven furlongs to a mile, Hastily has won 2 of 12 races — that is a 17% win rate, or roughly 1 in every 6, which is comfortably above average at this level. It is a horse that needs a specific set of circumstances to perform, and when those circumstances align, it delivers.

The recent form, however, is hard to dress up. Finishing 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th in four of the last six races is the kind of sequence that suggests something is not quite clicking right now.
