The career began with a first win at Leopardstown in August 2022, which is about as good a starting point as an Irish racing fan could ask for — Leopardstown is one of the premier tracks in the country, and winning there as a young horse is no small thing. Since then, Hasten Slowly has done its best work at Tramore, a tight, scenic track on the Waterford coast that rewards horses who know their way around it. Two wins from just 4 races there is an impressive record — that's 1 win every 2 visits, which is well above the norm for any horse at any course. Tramore specialists are a real thing in Irish racing, and this horse appears to be one of them. The most recent of those wins came in August 2025, just 10 months ago.

That is roughly double the horse's overall average, and it is the kind of partnership that trainers tend to return to when it matters.
