The horse runs for Dylan Cunha's Newmarket yard, which has already sent out 45 winners this season, suggesting a trainer in form with plenty of ammunition. What's most interesting about Harry's Pop right now is not just the two wins, but the timing of them. Winning twice in a single week — at two different tracks — shows the horse can handle racing regularly and step up when given another chance quickly. The form before that winning streak was less impressive: three runs produced two fourth-place finishes and an eleventh, the sort of ordinary results you see from any young horse learning the game. But the back-to-back wins at Catterick and Brighton suggest Harry's Pop may have turned a corner. With Harry's Pop still racing and active as recently as yesterday, we'll soon see whether those two wins are the start of something or a purple patch.
