Hanaan is a 3-year-old still searching for a first win after two races without a place finish. The horse ran just yesterday, finishing sixth, and has shown modest form in both appearances so far — a ninth-place finish preceded the recent sixth. With S Woods training at Newmarket, Hanaan has access to one of racing's most prestigious yards; Woods has already sent out 24 winners this season, suggesting the trainer knows how to develop young horses. At just two races in, there is clearly plenty of time for Hanaan to find its level and break through, though it will need to show improvement from these early efforts.
