Hammal

Hammal is a five-year-old that has yet to find the winner's circle. Across eight races, the horse has finished outside the placings every single time — never once breaking into the frame. Most recently, Hammal raced just a day ago and came home tenth, continuing a run of six consecutive races without a place. The finishes tell their own story: tenth, sixth, ninth, tenth, tenth, eleventh. There is no pattern of improvement, no narrowing gap to a breakthrough moment. At this stage of a racing career, when a horse has contested eight races and remains winless with nothing to show on the board, it is fair to say that Hammal is still hunting for a race where everything clicks into place.
