Grand Premiere
Grand Premiere is a three-year-old who has yet to win a race but has shown enough promise to keep the yard — sorry, to keep the yard interested, finishing second in both of its two outings so far. Two races, two placings: that is a horse that knows where the line is, it just hasn't crossed it first yet.Based on TrackLab's analysis

What makes that record genuinely interesting is the trainer behind it. Mrs John Harrington, operating out of Moone in County Kildare, has sent out 51 winners already this season — that is a yard firing on all cylinders, and a horse that earns a place in her string is not there by accident. When a trainer of that calibre keeps running a horse that hasn't won, it usually means they can see something worth waiting for.
Grand Premiere raced just yesterday and is very much an active project. With only two races under its belt, the full picture is still being painted. A horse this lightly raced, placed in both attempts, trained by one of Ireland's most productive yards — the next run is one worth watching.
