Good Option
Good Option remains a work in progress at six years old. The horse has raced five times without finding the winner's enclosure, though it did pick up a place finish along the way. Most recently, Good Option finished fourth, twelve days ago, which suggests the horse is being kept active and racing regularly. Over its last five races, the results have been mixed — that fourth-place finish was actually the best performance in this recent sequence, with finishes of second, seventh, ninth, and ninth making up the rest.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Gavin Cromwell at Navan, Good Option is part of a yard that has sent out 94 winners already this season, so the horse is in the hands of someone who clearly knows how to train a winner. Whether Good Option will become one of those success stories remains to be seen, but at least it is still racing and being given opportunities to break through. The second-place finish suggests there is some ability there — it is not far off the pace on its day. For now, Good Option is a horse still searching for that elusive first victory.
