Almost all of Golden Mind's career has been spent in Class 2 races — among the top tier of British racing — and it has won 3 of those 16 attempts at that level. That's nearly 1 in every 5 tries against some seriously good horses. A lot of horses spend their whole careers hoping to compete at this standard. Golden Mind has made a habit of it, and more importantly, has beaten that company on multiple occasions.

That's winning 43% of the time, or nearly 3 in every 7 races at its preferred trip. In a sport where even elite horses don't win much more than 1 in 4, those numbers are striking. The wins themselves tell a story of a horse that keeps improving its CV.
