When a trainer is firing at that rate, it is worth keeping an eye on even the unproven names in the string — horses improve, and Haslam clearly has the knack for finding the right race at the right time.
Golden Buzz raced just yesterday, so the yard — sorry, so the team — are clearly not shy about keeping it busy. At two years old, most horses are still learning the basics of race day: the noise, the pace, the pressure. There is plenty of time for things to click, and with a yard in this kind of form, it would be premature to write Golden Buzz off just yet.
