Trainer Daniel McLoughlin operates out of Newbridge in Co Kildare and has sent out 9 winners already this season, so the yard clearly knows how to get a horse in front. Gold Find, though, has not yet shown the form to suggest a breakthrough is imminent. Finishing positions of 8, 6, 5, and 7 across its four races paint a picture of a horse running consistently in the lower half of the field without any obvious upward curve — the fifth-place finish is the highlight of the quartet, and even that came with a gap to the places.
There is no prize money, no placed effort, and no obvious trend to point toward a turnaround. That said, McLoughlin's record this season shows the stable is in decent shape, and three-year-olds can improve sharply as the season progresses. For now, Gold Find is one to watch rather than one to back.
