A first win arrived at The Curragh in March 2025, and a second followed at Cork in December 2025 — and while six months have now passed since that Cork success, Glen To Glen has raced as recently as yesterday, so this is very much a horse still in active campaigning mode. That recent form line, however, tells a sobering tale: a string of mid-to-rear finishes (18th, 18th, a non-completion, and a 9th) punctuated only by that solitary Cork win in the sequence. Finding that kind of consistency is clearly the challenge.

What provides real context here is the operation behind the horse. O'Brien's Owning Hill yard has sent out 160 winners this season alone — that is a training operation firing at serious volume, and having your horse sit in that environment means access to professional preparation at a high level. When a trainer is winning at that rate across their whole string, it is reasonable to expect they have Glen To Glen pointed at races where there is a genuine chance of adding to that tally. The question, looking at that recent form, is whether the horse can rediscover what it showed at Cork.

At 4 years old, Glen To Glen is still young enough to develop, and the profile of a horse who can win but drifts through patches of poor form is not an unusual one.
