Gimarias
Six races, zero wins, and just a single placing to show for it — on paper, Gimarias is having a tough time of things. The six-year-old has finished third once in those six outings, but has otherwise struggled to get into contention, with recent finishes of fifth, seventh, fifth, and eighth doing little to suggest a change in fortune is just around the corner.Based on TrackLab's analysis

What is worth noting is that Gimarias is still very much in training and raced just yesterday, so the team clearly believes there is something to work with. Trainer Mel Rowley, based in Bridgnorth in Shropshire, has sent out 12 winners this season, which tells you the yard knows how to get a horse to the winner's enclosure. The question is whether Gimarias can eventually become one of them.
For now, this is a horse that has yet to find its moment. Sometimes it takes a specific type of race, a particular track, or simply the right day — but until that arrives, Gimarias remains a work in progress.
