His most recent win came at Musselburgh just last week, on 22 June 2026, and that followed a win at Hamilton Park earlier in the summer too. Back-to-back wins for an eight-year-old who has spent most of his career in the mid-to-lower tier of British racing is genuinely noteworthy. These are Class 6 races — the entry level of the sport — but winning them consistently is still a skill, and Gemini Man is doing exactly that. On normal ground conditions he has won 3 times from just 9 races, a win rate of 33%, which is the kind of number that tells you he has a surface he really enjoys.

He is trained by Iain Jardine, whose yard is based in Carrutherstown in Dumfries and Galloway. Jardine's team have sent out 57 winners this season, so this is a busy, productive operation. The trainer has noted that Gemini Man actually looks like a better horse over hurdles than on the flat — a different discipline entirely that requires jumping obstacles — and after a win at Hexham in the autumn of 2025, Jardine was already eyeing a race at Kelso as a logical next step. That kind of forward planning suggests the team see a horse who still has places to go, not one they are simply running out of habit.

At his preferred trip of a mile and one to two furlongs, he has won 2 from 10 races, converting at 20%.
