Gale Force Jet

The long absence is the most pressing question mark heading into whatever comes next. Eleven months away from racing is a significant chunk of time, and horses returning from that kind of break can be ring-rusty, needing a run or two to find their rhythm again. Whether the time off was planned or forced by an injury or setback, we simply don't know — but at seven years old, with only two races on the clock, Gale Force Jet remains something of an unknown quantity. There is almost nothing to go on.

The optimistic read is that the slate is still largely blank. Two races is barely enough to judge a horse, and some take time to figure things out. But until Gale Force Jet gives us something to work with, patience is the only sensible response.
