Funky Dory
Funky Dory is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the track. The horse has run twice so far, finishing sixth most recently and second before that, without a win yet. There's a place on the record — that second-place finish — but no victories, which is entirely normal at this early stage of a young horse's career.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
The trainer, K. R. Burke, runs a yard at Coverham in North Yorkshire that has been prolific this season, with 145 winners to its name. Burke clearly knows how to get horses ready to race, and there is no shortage of experience behind Funky Dory's development. The fact that the horse is still racing regularly, just one day after its most recent outing, suggests the team thinks there is more to come and is keen to find the right opportunity. With only two races run, there is plenty of time for this young horse to improve and break its duck.
