Tom Dascombe at Upper Lambourn in Berkshire, a yard that has already sent out 22 winners this season, so there is clearly quality work happening behind the scenes even if Frankie Power hasn't yet clicked into gear. At this early stage of a young horse's career, these blank runs tell you very little — many decent horses take time to understand what racing is about, and back-to-back efforts like these are part of the learning curve rather than a sign of anything amiss. With just two races under its belt, Frankie Power is still a work in progress.
