Formous

Formous is a two-year-old still finding its feet on the racetrack. It made its debut just over a week ago and did not get into the money, finishing outside the places in a single outing so far. With Joseph Patrick O'Brien's yard in Co Kilkenny sending out winners at a steady clip this season — 160 already — there is clearly expertise on hand to develop the horse as it gains experience. Early races are often about learning the ropes rather than winning, and a young horse's true potential usually emerges only after several outings. Formous will need time to settle into racing and show what it can do.
