Fleur De Provence

Trained by D K Weld at the Curragh, Fleur De Provence is part of a yard that has already sent out 21 winners this season, so there is solid horsemanship in the background. The recent form reads 3-9-2-2, meaning the horse ran third most recently before that second-place finish, which suggests the racing pattern has tightened — two runner-up efforts in the last three races show the horse is consistently competitive. With no wins yet from four attempts, Fleur De Provence remains a maiden at the track, but placed horses often break through soon, especially when they are showing this kind of regular involvement in the placings. The next race could easily be the one.
