The big moment in the career so far came on 21 March 2025, when Fierce Warrior won a Class 2 race at Musselburgh — one of the better races in Britain, and the kind of result that marks a horse out as something more than an ordinary competitor. Most horses at this level never get near a race of that quality, let alone win one. The first career win came back in May 2023 at Worcester, so this is a horse with genuine experience behind it, and one that has clearly improved with time.

Fierce Warrior is trained by Nicky Henderson at Upper Lambourn in Berkshire — one of the most decorated training operations in the country. Henderson's yard has sent out 85 winners already this season, which gives you a sense of the scale and quality of the operation. When a horse comes out of that stable, it tends to be well prepared. In the saddle most often is Nico de Boinville, who has ridden Fierce Warrior in 6 races and won 2 of them — a win rate of 33%, or roughly 1 in every 3. That's a strong record for a jockey-and-horse partnership and suggests the two have developed a real understanding.

That pattern of alternating wins and placed efforts shows a horse very much in the thick of things. The last win came at Doncaster on 29 November 2025 — four months ago — and with Fierce Warrior having raced just seven days ago and still active, another big run could come at any time. Most of its career has been spent competing at a standard level, where it has won 2 of 8, but the Musselburgh result proves it can step up when asked. This is a horse worth keeping an eye on.
