That first win came at Dundalk on 11 February 2026, an indoor all-weather track in County Louth that runs through the winter months when most Irish racing is quiet. Winning there as a young horse in February is a decent early marker — it is a competitive enough venue and not somewhere you simply roll up and collect.
Behind Faustyna is Gavin Cromwell, a Navan-based trainer who has had a productive season, sending out 93 winners. That is a serious number — it puts Cromwell firmly among the busier and more successful operations in Irish racing right now, and it means Faustyna is being looked after by a yard that clearly knows how to get horses ready to win. When a horse comes from a team firing at that rate, it tends to arrive at the track fit and prepared rather than just taking part.
Still only three and still active, Faustyna is right at the beginning of her story. The record is small but clean, and with a trainer in this kind of form, the next chapter should not be long in coming.
