Falcon Fly
Falcon Fly is a two-year-old who made its debut just a day ago, finishing sixth in its first outing. With only that single race to its name, there is nothing yet to suggest what kind of horse this might become — a single sixth-place finish tells you very little about a young animal still finding its feet on the track. Two-year-olds are often raw and unpredictable, and a poor first result can mean almost anything: the horse may have been green, the pace might not have suited it, or it simply may not have been ready. Some horses improve dramatically after their first race once they understand what racing is about. Without more information about how Falcon Fly ran, where it raced, or what the conditions were like, it is too early to draw any real conclusions. The next race or two will be far more telling.
