Fahrenheit Seven

The level of competition matters here. Fahrenheit Seven spends most of its time in Class 2 races — that means the second tier of British racing, one step below the very best. Winning a third of those races, 2 from 6, is the kind of number that gets people's attention. Plenty of horses compete at that level their whole careers without winning at all. This one has done it twice, including at Hamilton Park and Pontefract in the spring of 2025, and looks entirely at home there.

Robert Cowell's yard in Newmarket has been in excellent form, sending out 24 winners already this season, and Fahrenheit Seven is clearly one of the horses carrying that momentum. The partnership with jockey Tyler Heard is still developing — one win from five rides together, a 20% win rate — but there is clearly something working when conditions suit. Fahrenheit Seven's real sweet spot is normal ground, where it has won 3 of just 4 races, a remarkable 75% conversion rate that suggests the horse is almost a different animal when the ground is right.

Newcastle is another happy hunting ground, with 2 wins from 4 visits. That kind of course record rarely happens by accident — some horses simply take to a particular track's shape or layout, and Fahrenheit Seven seems to be one of them.

At five years old and still active — racing as recently as yesterday — Fahrenheit Seven is right in its prime. The most recent win came at Southwell in March 2026, three months ago, and the last six runs show a patchy but intriguing pattern: two wins buried among some less impressive finishes. That is typical of a horse operating at a consistently high level, where the competition is fierce enough to make every race genuinely unpredictable. When everything clicks — normal ground, the right track, the right day — Fahrenheit Seven has shown it can beat just about anyone in front of it.
