Excessive
Excessive is a two-year-old in the early stages of his racing career, still learning the game after six races without a win or a place finish. Trained by
Tim Easterby at Great Habton in North Yorkshire, he races in a yard that has been firing on all cylinders this season, with 128 winners already to its name — a sign that when horses from this stable do click, they tend to do it decisively.

🔍 Full analysis
Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
The colt's recent form shows him finishing well outside the placings in every outing, with results of 9th, 10th, 4th, 9th, 5th and 4th. That 4th place last time out suggests some glimmer of improvement, but he has not yet crossed the line in front or found his way into the frame on any occasion. At this tender age, consistency matters as much as fireworks — Easterby's team clearly sees something worth persisting with, but Excessive will need to tighten up considerably if he is to become a winning runner rather than a perpetual also-ran.
