That's not a quiet backwater — that's a busy, successful stable that knows how to get horses competitive. When a yard is firing at that volume, a horse that hasn't clicked yet isn't necessarily a lost cause; it may simply be a horse still finding its way.

Sometimes horses take time to work out what racing is actually about — the noise, the pace, the pressure of a field around them. At three years old, there's still time for the penny to drop.
