Evangeline Adams is a two-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She made her debut just a day ago and finished ninth, which is the sort of starting point many young horses have — plenty of room to improve, and no reason yet to think she won't. With
Emma Lavelle's yard behind her, she is at least in capable hands. Lavelle has already sent out 44 winners this season from Ogbourne Maizey in Wiltshire, so the operation knows how to get horses winning. Whether Evangeline Adams will be among the next batch to break through is something we'll find out as she races more often.
